Today it was warm enough to turn the air conditioning in my car on. It's the first time since last summer that the a/c has been on, so I was hoping it would be cold and wouldn't smell weird. I was not expecting to flush out a stowaway.


Look at those blue mandibles!

I'm going to call him Renfield.

(Children, don't take pictures while you're driving down the road. Even if it is the sudden appearance of a black and white spider with blue fangs freaking out on your dashboard.)

He was way more scared than I was. I guess having your cozy nest turn into a wind tunnel is upsetting. Today he had moved down to under the pedals. I hope I don't step on him.

Aww, so cute! Spiders still freak me out a little bit, but I can appreciate how handsome some of them can be. :)
