Jul. 17th, 2008 06:12 pmWent to see Hellboy 2.
Yee! Loved the Goblin Market, as was predicted. The fighting was pretty. The villains had a point. There was lots of shirtlessness from Perlman, which I enjoyed much more than my brother-in-law. I knew exactly what was going to happen to the prince as soon as his link to the princess was shown. And I thought the tooth fairies were strangely cute. Y'know, apart from the mass devourings. Also, I was expecting more from the other fae.
In the old faerie stories, if they found out a person could see them, it usually meant that person lost their eyes. So I was expecting the troll lady to go straight for their sockets when she realized they could see them.
My favorite, though, was Johann Krauss. Heehee! I wasn't sure how they were going to show him, but I enjoyed it.

Date: 2008-07-20 12:36 am (UTC)Krauss was awesome. I think he was Seth Green, heh.
Funny enough I think when Hellboy looked down to notice the one guy had been eaten by the fairies, the skull still had teeth. Bad prop maker! Bad! XD
The fairies totally reminded me of Izs.
