It is done!

This one was harder than past years. The requester very kindly gave a whole list of potential fandoms to use, it's just that I knew like two of them! And even those I hadn't seen in years. So I had to do some research to give the poor requester at least a few things they knew, and when I really couldn't think of anything to write, I snuck my own fandoms in here and there to fill in the gaps.

Fic of the Day:Spirited Away

I got a sweet compliment from one of my K4s. We were drawing pictures of ourselves at playtime and since I have sort of a dishwater blondish-mostly brown hair (with some white strands since I started working with children...) I was coloring my picture with brown and yellow. One of the girls looked over my shoulder and said "That's not what your hair looks like."

"Oh yeah?" I said. "What color do you think it is?"

"It's gold," she said. "Like God's treasure."

I admit to being flattered. My hair appears as different colors to different people, but it's been awhile since someone mentioned it. And a compliment from a child is a rare thing. One that doesn't involve how much bigger I am than them, anyway.
