Jan. 30th, 2007 10:24 pmIt's the catchiest tune I've heard in awhile and I have to sing preschool songs on a regular basis. And it's looped so you can sit and listen to it for hours on end like I have.
Then again, I could be insane. It's that time of year. February has a bad affect on Barrow people. It's like we made it through the long, dark winter through perseverance and fortitude and force of will and strength of character... But now that the sun is up, we can go completely off the deep end with a clear conscience.
I, for one, spent the evening eating jelly bellies and drawing 'possums and listening to a perky-sounding song over and over and over. ('Possums are so cool. I love their little pointy faces and their little handsy-feet and their shiny black eyes, and the fact that they never get rabies even when they carry it.) Which is a step up from sitting here thinking that when my brown and tan spotted blanket is all rumpled up like it is, it looks sort of like a coiled up python. Hmm. What if it WAS a python? Would it constrict me in my sleep?
See the part above where I might be losing my mind.
