I was laying around my parents' living room the other day, a nd I had a goofy thought. My thought was a weird and random one. I went to get a glass of water, and was still grinning to myself about my goofy thought by the time I got back.

My Mom noticed and said, "You look like a lunatic, walking around, eyes on the ground, and grinning like that. What on earth is going through your mind??"

So I said:

"Suppose someone had huge, 200-lb-a-piece boots strapped to their ankle bones. Very heavy and impossible to get off. Suppose they wore them for years because they couldn't get them off. And they would have to get used to it, you know, moving along at a shuffle. But then! One day the boots DO come off! Think how light the person would feel! Think how happy they'd be! They could run and climb and frolic and cavort.

"How funny would it be see them go skipping around? They could go swimming and horseback riding again. And use small footbridges and get pedicures. And they'd probably be real strong after that too. After learning to walk and run with a 200 lb boot on each foot, they could probably kick through telephone poles and jump great distances!" By this point, I'm just giggling at the mental picture I have of all this. Then, I noticed the way Mom was blinking at me. "It just struck me as funny," I tried to explain.

And my Mom looked at my Dad, who raised an eyebrow at her and said "You DID ask."

There must be something about the fanficcing brain that creates these scenarios... And speaking of Pyramid Head, this (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/32524984/?qo=17&q=by%3Ahomoshiroi&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps) is both really cute and disturbing..

Actually I think your scenario could be some kind of metaphor for... well, all kinds of things. It's really cool.

That... abomination... freaks me out more than PH-chan (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/TeaRoses/PH-Chan.jpg). And I wasn't sure that was possible.

sullied and unusual

It is a strange thing.

Maybe I should look for deeper meaning to my ramblings. It couldn't hurt, I guess. Every little bit of insight helps!
