Small Town Saturday Night

Arctic excitement.

cloverbutt and her boyfriend went snowmobiling and the snowmobile caught on fire. We made the police scanners. We know that because some of our friends listen in to see what's going on. It's a great source of amusement for us in this tiny town.

Our neighbors must be cooking. This is the 5th time we've heard the fire alarm. Hopefully our duplex isn't on fire...

We had a party here last night for Sandro's birthday. The poor guy was put on display for the population of Barrow. He was praised and threatened, all the usual for a new boyfriend into a big extended family. Now they're calling him in to the birthday radio program. I hope he marries her, or he's gone through the torment of being part of the clan for naught. The party punch was very nice. Orange sherbert, apricot brandy, and a few other things. It was good.

I wish I had a reason to go looking at rings.
Well, I don't technically NEED a reason. I could just go looking anyway. But that's not the same thing. I want to be able to go looking for rings and have a valid reason to do it.
