And to keep that from being too grim, I’m going to babble on for a minute about how I need to order a new scanner since the one we have now is kaput, and I’m trying to figure out what to be for Halloween. Any suggestions?
I was thinking pirate since the little guys in ECE have been pirates all year. I was a witch last year. The shoes hurt. I was also the Bird Flu for a little while. Dad was a Mad Cow. Mom pretended she didn't know us.

Anyways, I hope the whale isn't wasted. (I remember you telling me how they are sometimes just left to rot).

Date: 2006-10-04 12:58 am (UTC)I guess I'm pretty egocentric. I figure if I can get by up here without whale meat everybody can, so I don't see the point. We have a grocery store and at least five restaurants. There are already yards full of meat and hanging ducks. Why kill whales? It just seems a waste to me.
