The unthinkable has happened. The nightmare creature is born!
Ok, it's not that bad. It might even be a good thing for dwindling species and stuff. I just happen to be unnerved by bears now that I live in a place where they can bash in your windows and drag you out to be eaten under the midnight sun. And that has happened to at least one person, so it isn't an entirely irrational fear...
Anyway, it's here.

Date: 2006-05-13 03:09 pm (UTC)Well, I don't believe in evolution or global warming for a minute but, isn't that beast incredible?? The dark rings around the eyes make it especially creepy. I don't find it suprising that polar bears and grizzly bears can produce offspring though. We have ligers ("bred for their skills in magic") and all sorts of other mixes out there as well. What I did find amazing was that the scientists said this beast is (well, was) fertile.
It's midnight and I have to go to bed...
