I have slippers.

Lanky Lincoln's Ghost, do I have slippers!

I have slippers that defy all description. They are awesome. They are big and pink and sparkly. They go halfway to my knees. I look like one of the Muppets from the shins down. It's amazing. I'll have to get pictures up so that all can bask in the pink, fuzzy glory that is my slippers.

And I have siarwenevenstar to thank for them.

I thought you might appreciate them. The pyjamas I wanted to get with them were out of stock. Maybe for your birthday. Now you don't have to borrow the sharky ones next time you have a pyjama day!!

Gah, I have babysat for three days and two nights. Straight. No parental intervention. I feel like I'm about to die.
On a brighter note, I was propositioned... Adam finally asked me out to DINNER last night. On the stroke of twelve! Admittedly, it was over the phone, but I've been a shaky bundle of YAY since last night.
Trying not to get too happy though. I have a tendency to screw these things up, and end up sadder and lonelier than before. Tanner's still number one though. ;)

oooh, thanks. but i figure if i can manage to walk in a straight line and form coherent sentences, i'll have done well. i just go to pieces when things like this happen. damn my traditional upbringing!!

'The Rules' are bogus. Just trust in God and be yourself. God will bring you the right one at the right time. And all that worldly advice about 'giving it up' is just disastrous. Abstinence until marriage is the best course of action! (I find it hilarious that purity is viewed as 'controversial' these days!)

Humm.. I find it quite odd that you would disregard a book like "The Rules" (and have you actually read it? I thought the same thing before I read the book!) The Rules have absolultely nothing against not having sex until marriage.

And I view purity as a wonderful thing! believe me, I guard my "pure" friends like they are Fort Knox!

Sure, I read enough of it. That book's been out for awhile actually. It's not new. (I miss the days I was able to spend hours in Barnes n' Noble...)

So, why do you think it's odd that I disregard it? There's a lot of things in this world I disregard. Worldly advise usually being at the top of that list.

So, back to slippers. I guess I'd have to see a photo since Bane's description makes them sound incredibly wild...
