Ok, I've been singing 'Wheels on the Bus' for about a month now! The kids love it. They could sing it ALL DAY... Which is why the episode of Fairly Oddparents where Cosmo pretends to be a cd compilation commercial strikes me as completely hilarious now. It was just funny before... to see Cosmo looking all soulful, with his tie undone and his shirt open, then he bursts out with "The wheels on the bus go round and round!" in his usual goofy voice. How I laughed. Hysteria is fun.

And speaking of talking, (Ha! Speaking of talking!)here's today's Inupiat lesson:

paaqtaktautainniq means avoidance of conflict
quvianguniq means humor

As in, if you want to have paaqtaktautainniq, you have to have some quvianguniq.

Now, say that ten times fast.

Even WELSH isn't that hard.
OK. I got one for you. I live near the longest placename in the Welsh Dictionary. If ever we meet, I am going to teach you to say it...

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwll-llantysiliogogogoch

It means "The Church of St Mary in the hollow of the white hazel near the rapid whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio near a red cave."

Llan- Church
Fair- The Mutated form of "Mair"- The Welsh form of Mary
Pwll- Pool
Gwyn- White
Gyll- Hazel
Umm... I'm not sure how the middle goes, because Welsh sentences are sometimes reversed in the middle...
Drobwyll- Whirlpool
Llantysilio- Tysilio's church
Ogof- cave... the F has been taken out.
Goch- The mutation of Coch- Red.

Say that when you're tipsy!
