The camping trip was great. It did NOT storm or anything apocalyptic while we were out, though there were a few hours where heatstroke was a concern. It was HOT.

We swam, rode on the boat, went fishing, roasted hotdogs and marshmallows, and chased the dog around. All in all, a pretty good time! I only got a little sunburned and I don't think I was bug-bitten at all! Those little clip-on bug spray things work!

I'll post pics as soon as I dig out the card reader.

Can't find my card reader! But there's some on my sister's facebook. I look especially ravishing with a bug spray thing clipped to my raggedy t-shirt and my hair all frizzed from the heat. On second thought, best not look. My beauty. It blinds!

It was fun, but even the bad camping trips make for good stories later, so it's always worthwhile.

Your new LJ icon is pretty! But the verse itself is speaking of destruction. The second half of that verse is '...till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.' Destruction is only being delayed until then. ;)

BTW, Do the bug spray clip on things work well?
