Booked Solid.

What a week.

We had a Dad's birthday, a brother-in-law's birthday, a parent's anniversary, a trip to see Dark Shadows, and a wedding shower. So. I'm whupped. That's about all the socializing I can do in succession before I need to detox. And now that I think about it, I haven't read or drawn anything in that time either. No wonder I'm exhausted.

But! I liked Dark Shadows. I used to watch the old series on Scifi in the mornings before school when we lived in Barrow. I went to see the movie with my cousin, who has probably seen every vampire movie ever made, and recognized Jonny Lee Miller from Dracula 2000 at the 'choice' scene. Jackie Earle Haley was scruffily adorable in just about every scene. Michelle Pfeiffer was prettier than should be allowed. I am always pleased to see Christopher Lee. And Alice Cooper. I have to admit it was a relief to see a vampire kill and eat people again. And unexpected!werewolf was unexpected.

Meanwhile, the new neighbors helped with the yard work and I am honor-bound to bake them something. Maybe brownies.
