Murphy's Law has been in full affect.
Dec. 24th, 2008 05:49 amI'm home! My wallet went missing at 2 am in Minniapolis. My luggage is nowhere to be found so that means no clothes or presents until it is found, but I am here!
Everything that could go wrong did. But Heather kindly picked me up and waited for the suitcase that didn't come, and then took me out to eat, without once mentioning my overall, airport funk. And despite my obviously Cursed state of Bad Luck she allowed me to borrow her car. She's a brave soul.
My poor mother is still in Fairbanks. I think her flight gets out tomorrow. As miserable as the last two days have been and even though it cost me a wallet and a suitcase full of clothes and presents, I'm glad I got jumped around to get here. I just hope that both wallet and suitcase are found and returned eventually. Fingers crossed!
