I'm home! My wallet went missing at 2 am in Minniapolis. My luggage is nowhere to be found so that means no clothes or presents until it is found, but I am here!

Everything that could go wrong did. But Heather kindly picked me up and waited for the suitcase that didn't come, and then took me out to eat, without once mentioning my overall, airport funk. And despite my obviously Cursed state of Bad Luck she allowed me to borrow her car. She's a brave soul.

My poor mother is still in Fairbanks. I think her flight gets out tomorrow. As miserable as the last two days have been and even though it cost me a wallet and a suitcase full of clothes and presents, I'm glad I got jumped around to get here. I just hope that both wallet and suitcase are found and returned eventually. Fingers crossed!

Thanks! I just hope that whatever's left of both of them make it back to me. Every now and then I think 'Augh! My comfy jeans! My insurance card!' and freak out a little, but there's nothing to do but wait and keep checking back with TSA.

Thanks! I'm still waiting to hear from Delta's baggage department. Everytime I call, they're busy, so I guess they're swamped. It is nice to be back with the rest of the clan. (Mom made it back too!)
