Dec. 28th, 2007 06:03 pmIt took me about 20 minutes to get all the ornaments off the tree and the tree outself out to the indignity of the dumpster. However, it has taken me a full four hours to clean up after it, and it's still not finished. I didn't know pine needles would just explode off the tree like that. Or that they would spread and attach to various rugs and corners.
I had to change the vaccuum bags and the poor Hoover is packed full of needles. So I'm giving it a break. I can't help but think that a leaf blower might be the tool for the job. Just walk through and blast all the pine needles outside. Alas, all we have is a hair dryer. Not quite the power needed.
On the other hand, the house smells great.
