Sigh. If I was in a real town, I'd be getting a free comic book and watching Wolverine: Origins today.

But no. I am not in a real town. And I can't justify flying out to a real town until these new meds have had a chance to work and the Dr. wants to see me again. Maybe in two or three weeks. Sigh, again.

So, if you're out there and can get to a comic book store or a theater today, I say go! Enjoy that opportunity. Get your geek on and some free stuff too! And think of me in the land of ice and snow... which this week is mostly slush and mud. It was 25 degrees this week! Unreal. Last week everything was still frozen.

Man, I so know how you feel about Free Comic Book Day. It's ridiculous. I live in a capital city and I still can't get a free comic book because it's Sabbath and the only two comic book stores in the entire country are in another city.

Mmm, slush and mud! Here it's just really warm and dusty.

Geographic isolation may come in handy for the zombie apocalypse, but it makes seeing the new movies a hassle! And since there is no book store at all here, much less a comic book store, I miss the good stuff.

I got my geek on... (And it was so refreshing to get out of the house!)

Lucky! Did you get comic or movie or both? Share!

I went to see the movie on Friday night while Stephen stayed home with the baby. (He then went to see it on Saturday night). It was very different than the other X-men movies, darker and grittier in parts. However, it was very well done and I think you'll really enjoy it. (There are some pretty funny moments too).
