Life of the Temp Worker

I had a temp job this week. Lots of filing. Months worth of it. It had to be sorted by route number and then again by date. Very tedious, until I realized that I wasn't being paid for how good a job I did...Just how long I actually sat there and did it.

The good news was that there was a really cute guy there. Nothing is without bright spots.

Was surfing randomly around and decided to see how many people had their location listed as "Barrow" (my family lives there and I'm probably going to be doing the same once summer hits). Just wanted to congratulate you for being the only person from there aside from my brother who doesn't suffer from OTD...=)

And btw, Hellsing rocks. I used to have the biggest crush on Integral. *sheepish grin*

Hey! Yeah, most of the clan is in Barrow now... I have managed to make it to sunnier shores, but I lived there a few years. I still go back for Christmas almost every year to see em all.
It's not so bad really. All you really need is nice thick socks, cable tv, and a decent internet connection. Or the socks and a good heavy book that you can either read or beat people with until you feel better. Whichever suits you.

True, but unfortunately the Internet connection ain't all that reliable, or at least our family's wasn't. I definitely agree with you on the book, though. Far too many people up there with little-to-no brainpower. As my English teacher once put it, "You don't suffer fools gladly, do you, Rose?"

If you don't mind my asking, who's your family? My mother's Erin Rose, she works for ASRC, and my brother Ace is going to high school up there. But you might not know them - we only moved up there in 2000.

My folks are the Crabtrees. Both my parents are teachers. You might have known one of my sisters. I wouldn've been gone by 2000, but they would have been there still.
