Mouths of Babes
Jan. 8th, 2008 07:25 pmIt's important life skills I'm teaching 'em.
Me: Whoa! Don't put that in your mouth! We don't put anything that's on the floor in our mouths. C'mon. Even raccoons wash their food before they eat it.
A K4 Child: Raccoons have stripey tails!
Me: True. What else do raccoons have?
Another K4 Child: ..........Maskses?
Me: Good! Anything else?
Another K4 Child: RABIES!!!
Me: Well... uh...
Same K4 Child: AND IF THEY BITE YOU, YOU HAVE TO GET SHOTS!!!
Me: That's... that's right. And so...um, do we touch a raccoon ever?
All K4 Children: NO!!!
Me: Good, good! Now, let's go to recess.
