Happy New Year Everybody!

Hope everybody saw 2007 off with joy. Even if it was only because that year was over. May 2008 be better! One of the good things about living in such a small town is we only had to walk over to the window to see fireworks. It was -12 anyway, so we weren't quite up to bundling up and sitting in the cold to see them. And thanks to the time difference, we got to see the ball drop in Time Square twice! Once at 8 and again at midnight.

I haven't nailed any resolutions to the wall yet, but I have some I'm working on. I broke all of them but one last year... and even that one was stretched pretty badly.

1. The standard ‘take better care of myself/lose weight/get healthy’ one.
2. Give up pop. Again. Or at least stop buying the stuff.
3. Give more money to charities. Maybe one a month.
4. Try to shake off my hermity ways and get out of the house at least once a week. Work doesn’t count.
5. Create! Make at least one thing every day. Even if it’s just a really good cup of cocoa.
