They took my glasses.

I can't see. I can only half hear. And I'm stuck with the 'lean in close and squint' method of reading, writing, typing, watching tv, snake identification, and home surgery.

They say my glasses will be back by the end of the week. Hopefully, I won't wander into any holes or mis-identify anything poisonous before then. In the meantime, it sucks.

Poor baby... How strong lenses do you have? I have "only" -4 diopters, I can't see further than half a meter ahead without mine. Well, hopefully you get yours back in time.

Me too! It gives me headaches as well. On the other hand, I get out of light housework because I can't tell what I'm doing...

I don't even know. I did have the grand sense that made me pick out the pair that had to be completely dismantled to put new lens in, which can only be done in certain shops so they had to mail them off. Bleah.
