One thing that I like is the old movies they show on AMC. It was Bela Lugosi night the other day. We watched Murder at the Rue Morgue and something about killer bats. Then we watched The Day the Earth Stood Still and an old Jekyll and Hyde movie. I hadn't seen any of them before.
Just to show you how out of touch I am, I noticed two interesting(to me!) things... in The Day the Earth Stood Still, the code words to control Gort the robot were Klaatu barada nikto, which sounds like something Ash said forty years later in another movie...
Also in the old Jekyll and Hyde movie, there's a girl singing the same polka song that the Hyde in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comic sings when he goes out to fight the Martians.
It takes so little to amuse me.
