Why can't people just go out of their way to make my life easier?

Why do LARPers insist on playing well into the wee hours? I was there last night and I had worked all day and locked my keys in the car and been lost in Winston-Salem for what seemed like forever, and there I was, trying to stay awake in a coffee house full of beginning werewolves.

Poor Sara tried to offer me a coffee smoothie thingy, but the taste of coffee makes me try to spit my own taste buds out, so I just glared. I wish they'd start in the daytime so we could finish earlier so I wouldn't be dozing off while they try to introduce me to the DenFather. Maybe I can take 'Narcoleptic' as a flaw or something. C'mon people! Cater to my whims!

On the plus side, I did get to watch Gette in the Mudscepades, and through my ingenuity and some found objects in the back yard, managed to get her car out of the trenches. It was great. I have pictures.

Ok, gotta do laundry and the trash and all that fun stuff.

I so understand this complaint about gaming! Why make the game on a weekend night instead of an afternoon?

When I used to play regularly, we played on weekend nights and we played until NO LATER THAN 11PM! This is when **I** was in college the first time. I think it was because we were playing in someones home that lived with their parents and all of us lived with parents as well.

I know you will figure out something. I guess these kinds of problems are why I do not play much any more. :)

Yes, I remember when I thought staying up all night on a weekend for a larp was a brilliant idea. Now I'd rather sleep. I think this means I'm old.

I never thought it was brilliant to stay up all night doing much of anything.... I guess I have always been old.. :P
