Nerds about town
Jan. 27th, 2013 06:47 pmSo yesterday I went to see the Hobbit again with two ladies from work and just to raise the nerdiness levels, I made us a batch of lembas to sneak into the theater. It's a long movie. Have to keep our strength up!
We also went to Red Robin to try the Guinness milkshake they have. Delicious! We also went to Barnes & Noble to root through the clearance bins from Halloween and Christmas. 75% off! We also went to peruse the international cuisine available at Big Lots. They have cookies with labels I can't read, but the cookies are sponge cake-ish, with one side coated in chocolate and apricot goop in the middle. They aren't bad and for $2, an affordable little taste adventure.
We also went to TJ Max to look for bath salts. We found a bucket of them as big as our heads but nothing in our price range. Then we listened to Nick Cave and the Bad Seed's Murder Ballads all the way home.
