Turn Back While You Still Can.
Nov. 27th, 2007 10:37 pmIt was below zero today. The inside of my nose was sure of it. I signed up to take a class in the spring. Hopefully, it won't be ghastly.
And speaking of ghastly, something's up with my toes. The nail of one, specifically. See I got a pedicure awhile back and since pedicure-maintenance isn't a priority in Barrow, Alaska, I haven't paid much attention to it since. And now that the polish is wearing off? The nail underneath is looking kinda funky.
Anybody know a good home remedy for what looks to be a minor toenail infection? (Dad recommends packing it with gunpowder and lighting it off. That's his answer to everything.) I googled it and got a list of scream-aloud horrible symptoms and equally hideous pictures, none of which in any way resemble my poor toe. Whatever it is, it isn't THAT bad. I just have a yucky toenail. I suppose I could paint over it again and forget it for a few more months, but I don't want it getting worse either!
And that's all about my toes. Sorry.
(P.S. If you see my Dad and he wants to borrow a match, don't give it to him...)
