Deerly Beloved.
Nov. 4th, 2007 12:18 pmI got Endless Forest to work last night. Talking to
slayersyrena made me want to try it again, so I went tinkering around, and lo and behold! It worked!
So, I stayed up into the night making my little Mononoke-ish deer prance through the woods. I don't quite have the knack of all the controls yet. I fell off the bridge so many times that I just started swimming across. I don't know what the blue mist that comes up every time I walk into a tree is either. But I've bowed to many a rock and tree by accident. I got stuck in the graveyard before I learned to jump. I even danced by myself in a clearing to weird oompa-ish music. I love it.
Maybe it has to do with how much I miss being able to walk through the woods myself. I always try to find a cool place to sleep before I quit. I'm not a video game type person, but I'm enjoying this.
