Back from FL

Phew! I’m back from Florida!
cloverbutt and I went to pick up our parents in Orlando and we were doing fine until we actually got inside the city limits. There a difference in navigational styles caused some tension. (“There! Turn there!” “I can’t! There’s no room!” “Turn! Pull onto the shoulder and TURNNNN!!!” “I CANNNNNN’T!!!”)
lithrael drove out to see me too, which was completely cool. We went out to one of our old stomping grounds, the anime store we drove hours to reach in college before anime swag could be had so readily.
We also went to Pleasure Island, which was a little noisy for my taste, but still fun. My mom got hit on by a talking mask in the Adventurer’s Club and cloverbutt had no trouble wrangling some dance partners. I mostly just observed.
The trip up was fun too. We drove through St. Augustine and it was just beautiful. We visited the Laceys in Jacksonville, and some relatives a little further north. Pictures were taken, scrap-booking supplies were purchased.
The folk will probably be on their way up to WV this morning. I need to get things in order here, then maybe I can go up and visit them again.
