The road to recovery...

Ok, after four doses of Nyquil I have recovered enough to give a better report of my Thanksgiving than the last one. I drove to WV after work and crashed with my Grandma on Wednesday. We watched the Macy's Parade and the Dog show Thursday morning. My uncle came by to laugh at the funny little breeds with me. We ate until we couldn't move. Then, I went to visit some family friends and ate with them for dinner. Ate much more than was good for me.
On Friday, Grandma and I braved the crowds to go shopping. We avoided the mall so it wasn't too bad.
Saturday, it snowed like crazy. I went up to the mountain anyway, to check on the house. all was well there. I visited friends while I was out, and not only was I fed to the bursting point again, I was given given doggie bags to take with me.
On Sunday, I came on home and that's when the worst of my cold hit. I think the worst is over though.
