Fic of the Day: Original The Biker story. I really need a name for it. He meets one of his fellow boarders under unusual circumstances.

And a bit of Ick for you. The two cats? They filled up the litterbox. In a NIGHT. I cleaned the box out and went to bed and next day, the cats were sprawled out in their usual lazy puddles.

“Ah,” they seemed to say. “Excellent. You’re awake. We have a little job for you, when you have a moment.”

My nose was way ahead of them.

“Phew!” I said. “Y’all sure are stinky today. I’ll just-WHAAAH!”

There wasn’t any loose litter in the box and two little happenings outside the box. No way just two cats could produce that much in just one night. I think they threw a party and didn’t tell me.

DONT WANT TO BE A DOWNER but if it's mostly pee and there is a repeat performance tonight, you may want to get em tested for diabetes. The OH HOLY CRAP HOW DID YOU FILL THIS SO FAST routine was how I got clued in to mine having it.

I'd say only a third of it was pee. And so far they've been back to normal. All, I can figure is it's the change in food.

I knew a girl Adam worked with who had a 17hh Appy gelding, built like a tank, and bedded in the horsy equivalent of cat-litter due to straw allergies. She gave him a carrot flavoured salt lick in the evening, and the next morning when we went to go and ride him, he had EATEN THE ENTIRE SALT LICK. EATEN IT. Not licked it, crunched it like a lolly, and drunk at least 15 gallons of water after the ensuing "oh, wow, I'm really thirsty..."

Details too graphic to go into properly, but NOT. PRETTY.
Be thankful your cats don't weigh a ton... although, in relation to their size, an overflowing litterbox is impressive...

ATE a whole saltlick?? The whole thing? One of those big cinder block-sized deals? Good grief, I'm surprised it didn't bloat the poor thing to death.
