I don't know what the heck it is, but it sits up in the chimney and giggles. Theories abound whether it's a fae, ghost, or demon, but all I know is it freaks the cats out, and pretty much anyone else who hears it. Doesn't seem to do any harm. At least it's happy, right?

I like Nessie. Plesiosaurs are so cool looking. At least with that one we know that it definitely DID exist.

I'm pretty sure the chimney critter is definitely something too. Exactly what kind of something it is escapes me, but I'm feeling more confident now that I'm not the only one who's heard it.

I think that mystery was solved when I heard the *exact same* giggling noise one day while walking outside. It really startled me! I said, "THAT'S IT!!!" and looked around desperately for the source. Turns out, it was a cute little bird! (If I remember correctly, a type of wren). It was 'giggling' in a bush on the side of the road.
