I'm normally a bit passive and unwilling to hurt anyone's feelings but I honestly think I would totally slam the door on missionaries. Or possibly even tell them something that would totally horrify them just so they would not want to be around me. (I can think of a few things but I won't go there...)
And letting strangers into your house? Does anybody do that? Forget it.
(I haven't had a missionary actually come to my door in quite some time though.)
