unknownfateSo. Back in Barrow again. It's been about 12 years since I've seen this place in the daylight. It's weird! And strangely warm....
We went down to the beach yesterday. Where else in the world do you get a phone call that says "Hey! Come down to the dry cleaners! There's beluga whales spouting!" So we went down to see them. They had moved on by the time we got there, but we did see a Bowhead whale fooling around. Then we went beachcombing. I found some little chunks of amber and jade. I carried em home fully intending to do something with them, but I don't know what yet.
Today, I went on a small jobhunt. The folks are all at work. So is Dinah. Just me and the cats and a TV. I haven't had tv for about a year... I'm seeing shoes I've only heard about... Avatar for one. And I've only seen two episodes of Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, and now I get to watch em all day! Now if only I could get the folks to enjoy Good Eats and Mythbusters as much as I do. But noooo. Anything that geeky must be gay. (How I fumed...)
