Heartstrings
Feb. 19th, 2013 12:26 pmSo I was watching Finding Bigfoot all afternoon* yesterday and I swear I think Animal Planet plays that commercial with the whimpering baby rhino by its dead mother every ten minutes! My heartstrings just can't take it! I would leave the room, but that sound followed me. It sounds like a lost and sad squeaky toy. Finally, it got to the point that I was yelling at the tv. "Ok! I'll watch Rhino Wars! Just make that sound stop!"

huntsman_77 was an IM witness to my distress. He says he won't watch unless they show the executions, but I'm not sure you can get away with that on Animal Planet. The commercial did mention the poachers never coming back in an ominous tone, so who knows?
* Three people I trust swear to me they have seen one. Two people I don't trust that much also say they have seen one. I have ever seen one and don't expect to, but somebody is seeing something and that's all I need to know.
