Where's the Skin Horse when I need one??

Whole lot of yikes today.

A colleague is getting his foot amputated. He broke it months ago, and didn’t know it or didn’t get it treated and now he has a life-threatening infection and they say it has to come off. I admit my stomach dropped at the thought. I can only imagine how he’s feeling. Add that to the case of scarlet fever we have at work, and like I told huntsman77, it’s like we’ve gone back in time! Isn't scarlet fever what the kid in the Velveteen Rabbit had so they had to burn all his stuff?
