(no subject)

Well, I finished the book. I feel better today. Kate came over and watched Rainbow Brite and the Starstealer with me. That was fun. When we watched it as children, the greedy princess seemed so much older than us. Now that we're adults ourselves, we were trying to figure out how old she was. Fifteen? Sixteen? And just where the heck did she get a magic jewel with unlimited power anyway? Sound like fanfic fodder to me!

But I've got a crapload of stuff to work on for my class already. I'm trying to write an editorial book review at the moment. It goes slowly.

I don't want to be a bus aide! My only consolation is that it will only be about 45 minutes a day for two weeks. And that I'll be paid for it. I have trouble refusing assignments when my only excuse is that I don't want to. Sounds so whiny.
