Woooo...

Fun stuff! We had a terrific storm the other day, lighting and pouring rain and branches falling out of trees. It was great! I had to go out in it to babysit for my cousin and the power went out right when I got there.

It wasn't really a problem. The kids went to bed and I sat and tried to read by candlelight until the flickering drove me crazy. Then I sat in the dark and plotted. Plotting is easy to do in a big chair, in a dark house, with the feeble red light of small candle flickering over your face... Bwa haha!

And for news of the weird, a pane of glass in out apt's patio door is all shattered into spiderwebs. It happened from the inside, but nobody knows how. It wasn't like that when I left to babysit that night, but it was that way when I got up to go to church. How did it happen without us knowing? The storm is the top suspect right now, but how did it do it from inside without waking up the four people asleep inside?

Perhaps it's a poltergeist! Or I'm manifesting telekinetic powers. Nobody knows! Or at least, nobody's talking...
