the rain, the park, and other things
Jun. 5th, 2004 09:58 amWell, I'm back at home for the weekend. We were going to the lake but the torrential downpour ixnayed that. Despite the deluge, I went out to sit in the hot tub. It's interesting to sit in warm, bubbly water while icy drops of it fall on your head. Mom brought out the beach umbrella and we sat under that for awhile in the hot tub. Thank goodness there wasn't any lightning.
I went to see Harry Potter 3 yesterday. Prisoner of Azkaban was always my favorite of the series and who can resist Gary Oldman? I didn't even recognise Emma Thompson as Trelawney until afterwards though...
But the movie seems to have stirred up the ninnies on my site's guestbook though. They treat the thing like a forum anyway, and all these little factions and warring parties have squared off there. I used to hop in to give my two cents on whatever subject was at hand, but no longer.
It's like that tupperware container in the back of the fridge. You don't open it. Whatever is in there is contained. Let it stay that way.
I'm hoping the rain will clear up enough to see the sky today. It is getting brighter out.
