Mr. Cellophane
Jan. 10th, 2004 10:08 amIf there's anyone out there who hasn't read Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, you really need to. First of all, it's a great book. Second of all, it describes something that has been happening to me a lot lately.
In the book, the denizens of London Below just aren't noticed by anyone else. They go up to people and talk to them, but only get half a response before the person's attention just slides off them to focus on something else. Most of my week has been like that. I'm trying not to feel sorry for myself about it.
