the power of prayer

I spend a lot of time in prayer at customer service kiosks in airports. It's usually a refrain of something like "Pleasepleaseplease let there be a seat. Pleeeeeeeease let me get out of here today instead of the day after tomorrow. I hate this airport! I hate flying. Oh God, please get me out of here!"

Ofttimes, it works! Take today. Thanks to sweet, beautiful Mary at Customer Service, I will only be here four hours instead of twenty. I love Mary.

Oh me too! I have so many travel mishaps, and it's probably because I have to travel so far and so often. SUCH a relief, not to spend another night in an airport terminal. And the day after.... not even able to go to the bathroom because I can't drag my luggage into the stalls and security wigs out if your aren't actively clutching it at all times.
