So sad...


Why don't they sell the live cubs instead of the dead ones?? I would think a live cub of an endangered species could be sold for at least more than $170. I would think that a living one could probably be worth a few thousand anyway. And if they only need $6,000 to keep the zoo going for a year, then they would only need to sell one or two a year.


Makes sense to me anyway...

Well, hopefully we're not the only people that feel that way and something can be done. There's got to be a breeding program somewhere that would love to kickstart a bloodline with some fresh genes. Or a zoo that could use some new lion cubs to bring in some guests.
Maybe the news articles will get their attention too.
