I passed up Margarita night because I was feeling cranky and antisocial, and there's nothing Halloweeny on tv at the moment... so the internet is the pastime of choice.
I've been cruising around on deviantArt for awhile now. So I'm putting just random words in the search to see what it comes up. Well, as usual I end up in something smutty. So, I type 'smut' in the search window. I figure if I get smut by accident, there's no telling what I'll find if I look for the smut itself. Well, I found more of the same, but then I noticed something...
There was this beautiful professional anime picture that someone was using as a background. (it was probably yaoi, but both people in it were so pretty, gender was hard to tell...) And then in the artwork section were all these line drawings of the exact same picture, only with slightly different hair. This amused me no end, so I went through and started counting all the pics that had been drawn from the exact same reference. I found several different examples.
Now, I'm as guilty of using anime poses as the next person, so I really shouldn't be saying anything. Good anatomy and pose files are hard to find and expensive when you do. There's nothing WRONG really, with using anime poses. It just struck me as funny to see that five or six different people had all used the same one in the same art community.

I am finally catching Fresher's Flu, a month after fresher's week. Joy.
Perhaps if I lie down, it will just go away... that's the story of my life!
