Ok, about 9:45 this morning, there's a knock on the door. It's the owner of the building ready to padlock it shut. He says I'm to out by 10:30. And so I blinked at him for awhile and he tried to explain that I was being evicted, while I tried to explain right back that I was moving out and my date to be out was July 10th. We got it sorted out in the end. Turns out it's the next building over that's getting evicted. Thank God I was home... If I hadn't been, there'd have been padlocks on my door by the time I got back.

Sigh. Weird and wacky.

Speaking of which, I went to see Madagascar last night with Sara, Melvin, Norm, and Gette. Norm left an empty chair between him and me at the movies. I guess I've got girl cooties or something. Anyway though, it was a really cute. I liked the penguins. Though the super cute baby lemur scored pretty high too. And the lemur song got stuck in my head so I spent the rest of the night going "Move it, move it."

As for the almost eviction, that woul dhave truly sucked. Glad you were home. :)
