Wheee! Back at home.

It's so DARK here at night! It's amazing how dark the dark is outside city limits. We were driving back from Christiansburg last night and it was pitch black inside the car. It was so dark that when my sister reached out to slug me in the arm, as siblings are wont to do. I never saw it or her and therefore squealed like a guinea pig when something hit me in the dark. It's like the people in jungle movies up to their armpits in black water and one yells "Something touched me!" Only in my case there was a snicker that let me know who was behind it.

In other news, my Mom is at war. With a ground hog. It's been eating out of her flowerbed. This has provoked the wrath of the mom and she roams the house looking for something heavy enough to kill it with. Thank God she hasn't broken out the firearms yet...

Oh dear!

Hi! Just to let you know I'm still alive! How's things?

What's a groundhog like? We don't have 'em over here! I guess they're just as pesky as moles. Are they cute?
My neighbour once staked out on his lawn to catch a mole that was ruining his garden, and killed it with a garden fork (*eew*). There were, I'm told, three holes in it. He threw it on the compost, and then three days later, it was on. His. Son's. Grave. (With the three fork holes and everything)... the mysteries of the paranormal will never cease to amaze me.
Anyways. You might wants to keep an eye on your mailbox! *winks!*
Toodles! XxX
