(no subject)

Well, I've been laid off from the same job twice in a week. I think that's some kind of record. Not one to envy perhaps.

In other news, the decline of the Pope's health has me thinking of the End Times. Those who follow the signs have been telling me to expect the End sometime in May. How's that for dinner conversation?? I find it all very depressing. I like the world, and life, and hey, even the Pope too. I don't want to lose any of them. It has been explained to me that such thoughts are very selfish and resisting the Allmighty is no way to behave.

I'm not sure if whimpering and whining can be counted as resistance. I'm going to look forward to summer anyway.

Hey you,

No one knows when the end times will come, the Bible states that clearly. To say 'it's going to happen in May' is ridiculous.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the end times. But it's good to like life (and the Pope) too so don't let people get you down.

Any explanation from the whacko company that keeped changing it's mind? Sheesh... I hope you get another job soon, but a sane one.

And it's finally warming up here! Cherry blossoms are blooming. It's a very nice change from the bleak winter landscape that was present when I arrived.

I know. I'm not as freaked out as that entry sounded.
I was just kinda sad and confused and the end of the world is as good a reason for feeling that way as any.

We have some blossoms here too. No thunderstorms yet, which is disappointing. Piedmont weather is pathetic.

ACK!
