Poor Old Johnny Ray

So I put one of my unlabeled mix cds into the cd player for my shower today. I really have to label those things. About 30 seconds into lathering up the shampoo when suddenly the strains of a horror movie theme came bursting through. Kinda takes the relaxation out of a shower when you're expecting the water to turn to blood or something.

I wish I could place the actual theme. My first thought was Halloween, but I'm not sure. It starts out with some really deep woodwinds and then trails off into creepy piano. It's not as fast or jittery as the Halloween piano though. Hmm. Whatever it is, it's effective. Making a grown woman cringe in her own shower in broad daylight takes some atmosphere.

The next song was Come On Eileen, which killed the creeps nicely.

Wonderful. It wasn't Psycho, was it? Because that would have been TOO much.

I've got to get more structure going in the chapters I'm sending you. I'm sure they're just rambling stupid blocks of filler that won't contribute to the story arc at all. I'm doubting all my skills lately!!

I would've recognized the Psycho theme. I still can't remember the movie it came from. I don't watch that many horror flicks so I'm not too sure.
