Serendipity, for only $8.54
I just saw this:
And I love it. I've watched it six times and I'll be singing 'boom-dee-ata' for awhile.
In other news:
Once upon a time, many years ago, I got a collection of fantasy and horror short stories from the library. In that collection were two stories that I completely loved. One was by Tanith Lee and called "Bite-Me-Not or, Fleur de Feu". The other was "The Erl-King" but it wasn't an author I knew, and I forgot it. I did xerox copies of both stories, but over the years I lost pages here and there.
Imagine my glee when I ordered "The Bloody Chamber" by Angela Carter for the retelling of the Bluebeard story, and "The Erl-King" was one of the other short stories there. I was just goofy with book-geekishness. Still am! Goodness from amazon. Happy sighs.

Now I'm curious about this "Erl-King." I've read one story based around it but I think this must be a different one. (I put the song on one of my FSTs... I knew it because millions of years ago my friend's rock bad covered it, in English though.)

Have you read Tales of the Flat Earth by Tanith Lee? Or the Books of Paradise? Those are my favorites.

I'll have to check out Carter now!
