We leave tomorrow.
Six hours in a car, eight in a plane, five on a train*. I may not be a whole lot of fun right away... but I'll be the crazed, pudgy one with the Where the Wild Things Are sweatshirt either on or tied about my waist, depending on how hot it is.
I do love to travel. I just can't seem to do it without attracting random disaster. And I this time I'm traveling with my Mom, who has a knack for manifesting chaos that I can only be amazed by. "It'll be an adventure!" she says. And lightning flashes, thunder rumbles.
But it should be fun. We have survived the BritishRailDirect.com /FedEx crisis already. What else could go wrong? *flash! rummmblllle*
*If only there was a boat involved, I would have all four of the basic transportation groups covered.
