My cat has been a prince with the babies. He's such a high-strung little squirrel-head that I figured he'd be a basketcase with them around. But no. He goes up to them and just flops over like a big beanie baby. It's weird. They poke his eyes and prod at him and pull his ears and try to pick him up by handfuls of his belly fur and he just lays there and purrs. (We're trying to show the twins how to pet gently, but they're one and excitable.) His sister had always been the cuddly one, but she heads under the porch as soon as she hears the stumble of little toddling feet.

Funny that the cat that tried to skin you would be so good with children and the one that is usually a sweetie runs for cover. :)

Gotta love the putty tats!

Oh, he's a little hero.

Bad news. My supervisor put me to work on Saturday Evening. As in THE SATURDAY EVENING YOU ARRIVE. I am NOT HAPPY. I'll leave you in the capable hands of my folks. They'll get the baby photos out whilst I'm not around to stop them...
... maybe I ought to hide them now...
