I didn't turn into a pumpkin, but...
Guess where I was at midnight last night?
Ten points to anyone who guessed that I was in the Kmart parking lot in the sleet and rain while my friend Billy supervised the repair of a flat tire. We went to IHOP and when we came back, the tire was flat. So, we hobbled it over to the Kmart where they had a little service station and tried to put some air in it. The air hose was broken, so we went into the Kmart itself for some Fix-a-flat.
Dear, sweet Billy stood in the rain and wind and ice and fixed it enough that we could go off in search of more air pumps. The next one we found worked, but the nozzle was broken, the third was out of order. FINALLY, on the 4th try, we found one and stood in the elements again until the tire was completely inflated.
It was still good this morning, so hopefully it will last until tomorrow when I can get to Sears and have them fix it for keeps.
