Went to a writing workshop yesterday! It was a lot of fun. Got to meet some creative types and a local author/illustrator.
There was some talk about starting a writing group to meet once a month or so and I'm hoping something comes of it. Kinda funny that I had more of a social scene in Barrow, but there everyone was in a two mile radius and here we are spread out much farther. I also got invited to dinner at a friend's house Friday night and got to play Apples to Apples for the first time. There was much fiendish chuckling.
So, I've had a pretty productive weekend and I have Monday off since they don't need me at the inservice. I'll be making it up Friday, but a three day weekend is a three day weekend!
